Day 20

In the last 2 days I’ve made good progress to reduce the deficit. I’m now only 32.78km behind by targeted distance but my legs are sore, really sore.

After my 404km of skiing last week and now the past 2 days of running totaling 34.35km my feet are veiny and aching. The London winter 10k is now only a few weeks away and my pace needs to improve. Only hitting 7:35 per mile this week.


Thanks to I’ve now got through a hefty amount of my first pack and it really does make a difference. I’d recommend the gels to anyone doing middle distance runs – I tested them out on a longer run and they kick in fast but be sure not to have too much!
